Sam and Adelaide met two years ago through a mutual friend. Sam got Adelaide’s number that night and began messaging her to get to know her. Their story almost ended there, when a technology issue involving international travel and undelivered text messages almost prevented their first date from happening, but thankfully Sam did the unthinkable and called Adelaide. Whew! With that sorted out, they went on their first date to get dinner at Alchemy then to see Dan Savage at a local venue.

Fast forward two years; Adelaide and Sam are now parents to two lovely cats, Sprout and Apollo, and a bearded dragon named Lizzy. They have enjoyed settling into their neighborhood and going to new restaurants, bars, and concerts nearby. The couple also enjoys plenty of time at home spending quality time with each other and their furry and scaly children. 

Sam proposed to Adelaide December 18, 2019  in the comfort of their home after a nice dinner at a local restaurant. Adelaide knows Sam too well to not have her suspicions on what was happening, but it was perfect and neither would have wanted it to go any other way.
